Thanks for visiting Nan’s Closet! We are now open in our new location! For the past 20 years, Nan’s has served Detroit and the surrounding communities from a tiny white house on First St. SE in Detroit, Texas, and during that time has given away over a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000.00) to local organizations, such as schools, fire departments, other area churches for specific needs like summer camp scholarships, family council organizations of local long-term care facilities, and many more. What Mrs. Charlotte Phifer started as a tiny church volunteer-staffed thrift shop has now grown into a major Red River County Non-Profit.
Nan’s has moved to 155 W. Garner St., Detroit, Texas. This is the large “bank” building in the center of the Garner Street frontage road with the big white columns. We can’t wait for you to shop with us in our new, improved space!
